“As we grow it’s important that we have in place the right people with the relevant expertise and I’m delighted that Russell will be heading up MB Engineering Services and MB Plastics. With over 20 years experience in process engineering he is well placed to help us grow these parts of the business and I’ve no doubt that he’ll prove to be a real asset to the Group.”

Russell Ward added:

“I’m extremely excited about the prospect of working with Motherwell Bridge.  It is an established business with a solid reputation and my challenge will be to further increase the profitability of both MB Engineering Services and MB Plastics.”

A keen sailor, Russell was a member of the British sailing team which participated in the 1999 World Championships in Melbourne, Australia.
